The Gallery of Rockport began in December 2004 as a small town venue for local and regional artists to market Texas coastal art. In January 2006 the Gallery relocated to a newly renovated 115 year old historical downtown landmark with 5,000 square feet and over 60 of Texas' most accomplished artists. Today, we are widely known as one of the region's finest galleries and truly a "must see" destination in one of the "top one hundred small art towns in America." The Gallery, just like Rockport itself, is friendly, informal and welcoming to tourists, artists, collectors and local folks. On the first Saturday of each month the Gallery features Sundowner Saturdays from 5 - 8 p.m. These regular receptions are "the place to be" for the Rockport social scene to hangout and share a little wine with some of Texas' art legends and emerging stars. Come see us on your next art adventure and find out for yourself why we are setting the standard for "the art of the Texas coast and more." The Gallery is surely another great reason to love Rockport. Our gallery is available for special events, parties and fundraisers.
